Patrae

Patrae was a seaport city in Achaea, on the northern coast of Peloponnesus, and the main port on the Gulf of Patrae. The first king was the earth-born Eumelus, who learned to grow corn from Triptolemus. Eumelus founded the town of Aroë. When Patreus arrived, he founded the city of Patrae, which included part or all of Aroë.
